Become a Coffee Shop Owner

Coffee shops are pretty management intensive. They require active training, product development, marketing, and financial decisions. On top of that, many small coffee shop owners decide to work as a barista themselves. This can lead to a very tough schedule for many coffee shop owners. However, if the owner has a passion for delivering a good cup of joe, and if they know some basics about business, it can be quite lucrative.

I am going to assume you have a passion for coffee and know what makes a good product. This site will be primarily dealing with how to obtain suppliers, how to setup the business structure, how to manage employees, and other business related subjects.

The reason why this will be the focus of the site is because those areas are where my expertise of the coffee business resides. Through the course of the next couple months I will be writing articles that will hopefully get you on your way to becoming a successful coffee shop owner.
